With gas prices crawling upwards and upwards -- will it ever stop? -- one resort is being proactive to the crunch gas puts on everyone's fun.
The Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, Wash., will give anyone staying an overnight, Sunday through Thursday, a $20 gas card for visiting their resort. Little Creek Casino Resort will be home to Salish Cliffs Golf Course, which is scheduled to open next summer. Click here for aerial photos of the course.
“Little Creek Casino Resort understands that the price of gas continues to rise and we want to make it easy for guests to drive here,” says Ray Peters, Executive Director of the Squaxin Island Tribe which owns and operates the resort.
It's $3.09 a gallon for premium here. I'm sure it's not much better where you are. A little money for my gas tank is exactly the kind of thing I need to sway me to spending money on entertainment that requires travel. Perhaps we'll see more of this kind of marketing in the future?
