Cyberspace is getting crowded!

It's been awhile since we've been able to add to the list of super bloggers that you can find on the right side of this page, but today we're introducing you to not one, but two, blogs we've stumbled upon that are either produced by superintendents or focused on the art of golf course maintenance. (Please hold your applause until the end of this post).

First, we bring your attention to the blog dedicated to the turf maintenance department at Island View GC in Waconia, Minn. Now, despite the fact that "Island View" sounds like a course that should be in Hilton Head or San Diego as opposed to the eastern suburbs of Minneapolis, Class A superintendent Kurt Knox, a 13-year GCSAA member, has given his membership a pretty comprehensive look at the work of his crew. The blog features a staff listing, a mowing schedule and updates about special projects at the club, including updates during the winter as the crew preps for the course's opening next spring.

Our other addition comes from one of our industry partners, the golf course accessory company Par Aide. President Steve Garske is the chief author of "Out of Bounds," a blog that Garske described as "a place where you can learn about various aspects of our business and products that are not generally known or expressed elsewhere.  My intent is to keep it informal, hopefully amusing, and most of all pertinent and informative on different topics."

If you know of any other blogs that fit the bill for our crew of super bloggers, let us know. We'll add them to the list and give them a little pub in our little corner of cyberspace.
