After flexing their charitable muscles prior to the 2009 Golf Industry Show in New Orleans, attendees will get a chance to do that once again in February when the 2010 GIS visits San Diego.
On Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 volunteers will get the opportunity to assist the San Diego Food Bank. Two shifts of 100 volunteers each — one in the morning, one in the afternoon — will work with the organization to distribute food to those in need. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to donate food and money during the entire week of the show and the related educational conferences, set for Feb. 8-13.
