The clock is ticking on the first segment of GCM's Most Valuable Technician (MVT) awards program, which is being presented in partnership with Foley United.
The final day to submit nominations for the award is this Friday, March 5. The program has been designed to honor some of golf course management's unsung heroes, to recognize the men and women who keep the fleets of golf course maintenance equipment up and running. By visiting this Web site, superintendents can nominate their technicians for consideration for the award, which will be officially announced in the June issue of GCM.
Following the nomination process, a team of judges comprised of industry experts will narrow the field to three finalists. Profiles of those finalists will then be posted on the GCM portion of the GCSAA Web site, where visitors can vote for the technician they believe is most deserving of the award.
Again, the nomination deadline is this Friday. Make your voice heard!
