GCSAA's official magazine cleans up at TOCA conference
GCM earns 11 awards in 2009
Golf Course Management, the official publication of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), garnered 11 writing, photography and design awards during the Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association's (TOCA) national awards ceremony held May 6 during its annual meeting in Tucson, Ariz. The award total was the highest of any green industry magazine in the competition.
The publication received four 1st Place awards, the most in the golf course maintenance industry, and swept both the turf feature article and portrait/personality photography categories. In addition, GCM was honored with a “best in show” award for a photo spread in its December 2009 issue.
