It's a tradition here at GCSAA headquarters -- our friends from nearby Wakarusa Elementary School come visit the office for a crash course in the business of superintendents, a tour of the building and a pizza lunch.
This year we had 40 5th graders visit us. Scott Woodhead gave the kids a talk about the ABCs of being a superintendent. The kids asked Scott some great questions like, "What did you study in school?" "Do you kill the varmints?" and "How far can you hit a golf ball?"
Now, the pizza is all eaten and the school bus has loaded and left. Another Pen Pal Day done.
