It's been a beautiful day at Whistling Straits, with some great golf.
And Mike Lee, CGCS and Chris Zugel were happy to see no rain and no fog overnight and into Saturday morning.
The duo pulled an all-nighter Friday night, staying at the course to monitor how much, if any, rain fell. The rest of the staff was once again given an early evening off, but asked to return to the course at 3 a.m.
"Our coffee house caterer arrived tonight to keep the caffeine going," Lee said. "Our favorite kind of coffee? The free kind."
Seven staffers from Whistling Straits' sister courses, BlackWolf Run, came over to help out on maintenance. Lee said that with no delays on Saturday, they plan to have a 2010 PGA Champion crowned tomorrow.
Send some of that "Free Coffee Mojo" to my coffee house!
Costing me an arm and a leg over here....but so worth it :)
