Hanging out in the Merchandise Store after lunch today, I spotted Richard Latin, Ph.D., in a flurry of book-signing his just-released text, "A Practical Guide to Turfgrass Fungicides," and introduced myself. He writes for GCM, you know, and I like to put faces with the names of the magazine's authors. "I really enjoy mixing it up with the superintendents," the Purdue University educator/researcher told me. Latin will return to the store to sign books on Friday.
