WIthin my first couple of hours here at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center I have already bumped into Dean Graves, CGCS, winner of GCSAA's 2011 Presidential Award for Environmental Stewardship. He was smiling from ear to ear. His actual words to me were, "I'm giddy!" (and thrilled to be accompanied to Orlando this year by his wife). Graves will be recognized for his enrivonmental stewardship efforts at tomorrow's Celebrate GCSAA! program (5:30-7 p.m. in the OCCC's Valencia Ballroom). "It's a great profession to be in," Graves told me in parting.
