With the first shots of the 2012 Ryder Cup a little under 48 hours away, things are ramping up at Medinah CC's famed Course No. 3 in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The club's golf course maintenance operations, under the direction of Curtis Tyrrell, CGCS, MG, wrapped up their first full-day of activities last night, and we'll have several reports on those activities from Course No. 1 superintendent Jim Wallace and GCSAA's senior director of communications Jeff Bollig throughout the day today.
