If you appreciate golf course superintendents as much as some of the greatest golfers and celebrities in world, let GCSAA know, and you could win a trip to the 2016 American Century Celebrity Golf Championship, July 21-24, at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
The sweepstakes is part of GCSAA’s “Thank a Golf Course Superintendent” campaign. Commercials from the campaign will began airing on Golf Channel in early April and features a montage of clips from players and celebrities. In a specific commercial with celebrities targeting the sweepstakes, Charles Barkley, Justin Timberlake, John Elway and others share the message, “If you love golf like I do, thank a golf course superintendent.”
Entering the sweepstakes is simple. If you are at least 21 years of age, visit www.gcsaa.org/thankasuper to enter by thanking a superintendent you know. You can also tweet your message using the hashtags #thankasuper or #contestentry. You’ll be automatically entered to win a trip for two, including airfare, lodging and tickets, to the 2016 American Century Celebrity Golf Championship that likely will again include all of the celebrities in the commercial. The superintendent thanked will be entered to win a special prize, too. The sweepstakes kicks off May 1 and closes May 31, 2016.
The Championship, in its 27th year, welcomes more than 90 celebrities and is televised by NBC, NBC Sports Network and the Golf Channel.
