Here it is -- all that is left of the 200-year-old tree that was removed near the fourth hole after a branch fell Friday.
Another view of the tree stump, that is now resting in the back of a Tree-Tech truck stationed at the Baltusrol maintenance facility.
This is the front door to Baltusrol's maintenance office building, the first step on an abbreviated tour of the facility.
This is where you check in upon entering the building, a small office normally reserved for Office Manager Janet Kuhns.
In the entry way is this framed display in honor of golf legend Jack Nicklaus, who secured a pair of important wins in his career at Baltusrol.
A large conference room is at the center of the main floor of the facility. This is where the Environmental Institute for Golf conducted a meeting earlier in the week.
This should have been the first photo in this mini tour of the maintenance office building, but here is the exterior, designed to resemble the main clubhouse at Baltusrol.
While the maintenance facility was pretty much empty Saturday afternoon, the hospitality tent was a popular spot on a day when temperatures hit the 100-degree mark.
I finally got to meet Baltusrol Equipment Manager Todd Simms in person, and he posed with his Ultimate Utility Vehicle.
The equipment used this week was personalized with the names of the crew members who would be using it.
After a few days, all of these shots have started to look the same, so forgive the artistic take on this one.

Members of the maintenance crew await the signal to roll out onto the course Saturday.
Jason Grode, the assistant on the Lower Course (right) and Jason Dorn, the assistant on the Upper Course make sure every one is there and accounted for before beginning Saturday afternoon duties.
Upper Course Superintendent Doston Kish waves on the crews who will be focusing on the back nine Saturday.
